History and architecture
Saint Cecilia's Convent is in the heart of that section of East part known as "El Barrio" The convent building was altered to its present appearance by Neville & Bagge in 1907. The Convent of Saint Cecilia and the church both in the Romanesque Revival style, gracefully complement each other and the surrounding area.
